Flawless didn't start as a platform. It started as a detailing bay, and a lot of cars, before we ever wrote a line of code.

Flawless grew out of a detailing and PPF business serving customers across South Wales — fitting film, correcting paintwork, and doing the actual, physical work this industry is built on. That business grew enough to open facilities in Devon and in Leicestershire, which meant running installation operations across three different regions at once rather than one shop learning its own local customers.

Running film and detailing operations at that scale teaches you where this industry's problems actually come from, because you're the one stood in front of a customer explaining why one quote is £400 more than another, and you're the one who knows the honest answer is usually "the last shop was cutting corners" or "we're just guessing at what to charge."

The path from there to Flawless went through a digital marketing agency, not directly. Building that taught the other half of this: how people actually research a purchase online, what makes them trust a business enough to book with a card number, and why a vague price loses more customers than a firm one ever costs you.

Flawless is those two things put together. A real, operational understanding of how PPF gets sold and priced — earned running it across three regions, not read about it — combined with the ability to actually build the fixed-price system the industry was missing, instead of just being annoyed by its absence.

Most of that quote-to-quote variation is predictable, once you've seen enough of it from the inside. Coverage level, vehicle size and location account for the overwhelming majority of the difference between one price and another — which are all things you can know before anyone looks at the car. The rest of this page is what we built once we stopped accepting that "it depends" was a good enough answer.

How we work

You configure the job, we show you a fixed price, and you choose which installer from our network does the work. The price is the same whichever one you pick — so you're choosing on reviews, distance and availability, not haggling.

You reserve with a deposit. The balance is only charged once you've seen the finished work and confirmed you're happy with it. That order matters: it means the installer is paid for a job you've accepted, not one they've declared finished.

The price on the screen is the price on the invoice. If that sounds like a low bar, ask three PPF shops for a quote and see how it goes.

On the installers

We don't fit the film ourselves. Every job is done by an independent specialist who's been checked for manufacturer certification, insurance and past workmanship before joining the network.

They're paid a fair trade rate for the work. We're not interested in squeezing installers to the point where corners get cut — that produces bad jobs, and bad jobs come back to us, because your contract is with us rather than with them.

What we won't do

• Sell your details to multiple shops. Only the installer you actually choose receives your information.
• Quote low and add extras. If an installer finds something at inspection that genuinely changes the job, they tell you before starting and you can walk away with a full refund.
• Invent reviews. Any ratings you see on this site will be from real customers who've had real work done, or they won't be there at all.

Where we are

The platform itself starts in South Wales, and we're expanding region by region rather than claiming national coverage we can't deliver — that's Flawless's own installer network building up from scratch, separate from the multi-region business described above. If we don't have a vetted installer near you yet, we'll tell you that rather than sending you to someone we don't know.
